Thanks for the opportunity to review the online Advocate. I have looked around the site a couple of times and I like it. It is user friendly. I think it is a good way to reach more people and I look forward to its future. Best wishes.

Bill: Overall I like this format. I'm not totally at ease with such websites, but had no trouble getting around or reading the on-line copy. Like sharrison above, though, I had difficulty printing a page in print large enough to read. Thanks for this great work!!!

it is cool to be able to read online...it is frustrating that I can't copy an article and paste it into an email so it gets to the person who really needs it...even printing to a PDF doesn't allow me to cut and past from the pdf.

Positives -- quick access, storage & retrieval, saving on printing, ease of printing a single page, zoom in/out feature, search capability

I tried printing an article and the print is very small and difficult to read. Is there a remedy?

Instructions about printing would be helpful, specifically that in "full page" or other view, you need to mouse over the top of the screen to get the print icon to appear, and not completely clear which pages will print.

Overall, love it!

Thank you!

Good Job Derek !

I had to learn how to search as my settings do not allow single search all pages at once ( that I can figure out ). I seem to have to be looking at the page to get search to locate although the flyover says "Search this publication".

It takes a bit of using to get the hang of viewability ( the armchair quick scan ).

Happy New Year

Dear Friends: This is the first time I've logged in to take a look at the Advocate in its online format. I like it! Nice work. Please keep up this good and responsible work. This is the way to get the Advocate into the hands of our pastors, local church families, and to a much wider circle beyond who want to know what it means to be a United Methodist follower of Jesus in North Carolina. Happy New Year! Dave
